Race Winners On Debut
A full week on from Silverstone and I still don’t think it’s fully sunk in. A new team, a new co-driver, and the biggest race of the year as the season opener—there were a lot of unknowns heading into the weekend.
From the first laps in Friday testing, the focus was simple: give it everything and see where we stacked up. To come away with Pole Position and the Win is more than I could have ever asked for.
Hadley and I gelled straight away, and together with everyone at Innovation, it made for a really special weekend. The amount of work that goes on behind the scenes is huge, and this result is a credit to every single person involved. The long hours, the commitment—it all paid off.
