In August 2017, at the age of 16, Thomas Holland sat for the first time in a GT race car at the Ginetta owned track in Blyton, Lincolnshire, as part of a “summer school” that was his early birthday present. Over the following 2 days, which culminated in lap times better than they should have been, a passion was lit for motorsport that has grown ever since.

During the 2020, 2021 and 2022 race seasons, Thomas has started a total of 94 races and finished 92 of them with podium finishes from over 39% of those races. In GT cars, he has started 49 races, failing to finish in just 1 and achieving a podium place in 35 (71%) with 7 race wins.

After finishing runner-up in the GT Academy championship in 2022, Thomas was approached by and had test drive sessions with a number of race teams looking for drivers for the 2023 season.

At the age of just 22, he was categorised as a Pro race driver, holding FIA Silver status, and is also an Association of Racing Driver Schools (ARDS) qualified instructor. He is currently studying for a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Swansea University.

In 2023, he stepped up to British GT with support from Ginetta, enjoying a strong season that included a win on debut and an additional podium finish. At the start of 2024, he received a last-minute call-up to the 24H of Dubai and went on to win his class, adding a major endurance result to his record.

He returned to British GT again in 2024 with backing from Ginetta, securing a front-row start, 1 win, 2 podiums, and finishing 4th in the championship. He also made his GT Cup debut, taking 2 podiums from 4 races, both in first place.

In 2025, he progressed to faster machinery and moved onto the European stage, competing in McLaren Trophy Europe. Despite unfamiliar circuits and no prior testing, he delivered an impressive campaign, achieving 2 wins and 6 podiums, establishing himself as a rising talent in GT racing.

Now 23, Thomas looks forward with confidence and ambition to where 2026 will take him, as he continues his progression through the world of GT and endurance racing.
